The tandem flight, or tandem instructional flight, is the ideal way to be introduced to Free Flight.

Accompanied by an experienced instructor, anybody could experiment the feeling of Flying.

 

For that, it is necessary a basic instruction, regarding  takeoff, navigation, and landing procedures (the basic instruction takes place at the fight club, before the tandem instructional flight and during the entire time the student is in contact with the instructor). 

 

Instruction Duration: one hour (Registration at the flight club, basic theoretical class, transportation to the ramp, flight and media preparation with photo and HD video).

 

Practiced both modalities of free flight, paraglider and hang glider, the tandem flight in Rio de Janeiro allows people to fly over the Floresta da Tijuca , the biggest urban Forrest in the world, and enjoy the landscape composed of Pedra da Gávea, Pedra Bonita and the ocean.

Another interesting aspect is the fact that from Sao Conrado we see in the same landscape the favela da Rocinha and the big mansions from the condominiums. In a representation on a neighborhood scale, of a very Brazilian characteristic.
