To fly sustained only by the forces of nature is the beauty of the sport.
Taking off from mountains, or hills, we are able to feel the freedom provided only by flight. When there are thermal columns (or thermals), We are able to glide and actually go even higher then our take off altitude - increasing by far the flight time.
We have the privilege of landing on the beach sand.
How about FLY over the city of RIO DE JANEIRO?
The city of Rio de Janeiro surrounds the Tijuca mountain range or Tijuca Massif (Maciço da Tijuca). On a regular flight it is possible to admire the South Zone( the east), and Barra da Tijuca(the west). On good ascending current days It is possible to see the entire city: the North Zone, the West Zone, the Guanabara Bay and even Niterói. (City located on the other side of the bay).
